Where we are

 

Our location is rural and tranquil and the countryside that surrounds us is gently undulating wood covered hills, green fields with grazing animals, crops of wheat, maize, walnut groves and chestnut trees.

 

We are situated near the

hamlet of Anglars Nozac on the outskirts of a small medieval town called Gourdon in the Midi Pyrenees Department in an area known as The Lot. 

A region rich in nature, gastronomy, and heritage.

 

Sitting high on a hill where the Church of St Pierre dominates the skyline, Gourdon is The Lot's third largest town, and designated 'one of the most Beautiful Detours in France.' It's warrens of little streets with half-timbered honey-coloured houses and ancient medieval gateways invite you to explore its rich historic past. 

 

Gourdon is a vibrant little town that boasts a hospital, college, cinema and the hustle and bustle of a wealth of shops, bars, and restaurants. 

 

Les Valades is a well-appointed 'longere.

The guest accommodation consists of two double bedrooms with en-suites, and two family rooms (which comprises of a double bed and two singles beds or the option of four single beds) There is a large communal living room with English TV, an additional family sized bathroom and a large fully equipped kitchen diner.  

 

There is a 10m x 5m pool with sun terrace and shady patio areas.

 

We are accessible from the A20 north if driving from a channel port (about 550 miles from Calais or 420 miles from Caen)

 

From the domestic and International airports of Brive (36 miles) Bergerac (59 miles) and Limoges (110 miles)

 

From the A20 south if coming from Toulouse airport (96 miles).
